A couple months ago, just as ski season began, I took a trip up the mountain to the beautiful resort town of Breckenridge, Colorado. I had the distinct privilege of staying in a spectacular private home nestled in the pines with an awesome view of the slopes, convenient and close to town.

Grace Manor is a perfect name for this amazing Colorado luxury rental. It’s a large, spacious home, yet warm and inviting. The owners thought of every detail when designing and decorating this home. From the gourmet kitchen, to the top of the line hot tub with views of Breckenridge Ski Mountain, to the privacy and luxury of four master bedrooms, each with their own bathroom and TV/DVD, each in a separate corner of the house. A fifth bedroom with two bunk beds is perfect for the kids. The main floor master bedroom retreat will spoil you with an incredible view, heated floors, fine linens and a luxurious master bath.

Leave the cars parked in the heated garage and call a shuttle-for-hire that takes you right to Breckenridge’s new 8-person Gondola. If you prefer, drive just five minutes to the convenient lot right at the lift. After a thrilling day exploring the slopes of Breckenridge, enjoy an excellent meal in one of this town’s many fine restaurants. Or let the door-to-door shuttle take you back home to enjoy a meal in the comforts of Grace Manor.

The first-rate management company can refer you to a personal chef, if you choose not to cook. Breckenridge offers 79 restaurants choices and 180 shops, as well as 16 art galleries, a large grocery store and a new fitness center. If you are not a downhill skier or boarder, you’ll find other fun activities such as ice skating, nearby sledding and cross country skiing.

When choosing a Colorado ski destination, you can’t get much more convenient than Breckenridge. Just 15 minutes south of I-70, this popular resort town is a perfect ski vacation destination. We are certain a summer visit to Grace Manor would be just as spectacular with the huge deck for outdoor eating and relaxing.
