Taste of Chicago
Taste of Chicago has grown to become the world's largest outdoor food festival, attracting millions of “foodies” each year.
The ten-day food festival offers more than 300 menu items from over 70 restaurants and food vendors. Not only does it showcase Chicago cuisine, but it also celebrates the global influences that are a part of the city's melting pot.
Kids will enjoy the Family Village and Fun Time Stage, which features hands-on activities and entertainment for kids.
Another great attraction of the Taste of Chicago: free concerts that take place over the ten-day festival period. Main acts perform at the Petrillo Music Shell. This summer, the lineup includes John Mayer, Cheap Trick, Kenny Rogers, and the Black Crowes. Other stages throughout Taste also feature local and regional acts.
The Taste of Chicago is quintessential summer in the Windy City -- great food and music, blue skies, Lake Michigan, and an incredibly diverse group of people from all over the city and Chicago suburbs.
Food and beverages are sold by tickets only. Tickets are sold in strips of 12 for $8 at the festival.
